This is the history for the submission "by Councillor Martha Wardrop:- "Scottish Screen and the Scottish Arts Council will form a new cultural body Creative Scotland in June 2010. There will be bases in both Glasgow and Edinburgh, and the new organisation will relocate to the centre of Edinburgh later in the year. Council welcomes the announcement that Creative Scotland will retain the Scottish Screen offices in Glasgow and that it is committed to operating across both Glasgow and Edinburgh, and to having a truly national presence. Council agrees to support efforts to building on the work of Scottish Screen and develop assistance for the Film Community as Glasgow emerges as Britain's second film-making hub, after London."".
